Message
to the conscious people of the world, in support of Iranian people
There is no
need to explain to you what has been happening to the peace-loving
and freedom-seeking people of Iran. Over the last few days, everyone
has seen videos and pictures coming out of Iran, exposing the brutal
encounter of the Islamic government with the people of that country,
driving the situation into a full-scale catastrophe, endangering the
life of a 70 million strong nation; the majority of whom are
youngsters and children. The crime of this people is their civilized
resistance against a suffocating dictatorship and not accepting the
result of a fraudulent election that has taken place under deceit
and lies.
The
inevitable world-wide knowledge of this catastrophe puts a heavy
burden of responsibility on the shoulders of all conscience members
of the human society who believe in the dignity of human life, and
human rights without any discrimination.
The people
of Iran - women and men, old and young - have no expectation from
their fellow humans but to support them and try to stop this
ever-increasing bloody suppression in any possible way.
We, the
undersigned, residents of different countries of this unique world,
demand that each of our governments puts aside any reluctance to
interfere in this human catastrophe and, instead of issuing hollow
declaration, immediately begin to use the instrument of UN Security
Council for a unified decision on punishing the Islamic Republic for
its cruel and brutal actions and release the Iranian people from the
clinches of this suppression.
Needless to
say that, we will consider the reaction of our elected state-persons
in this regards as a criterion in the future elections in our
countries.

پيام به مردمان آگاه جهان برای پشتيبانی از مردم ايران!
لازم نيست آن چه را که اين روزها بر مردمان صلح دوست، و آزادی
خواه ايران می رود برای شما تشريح کنيم. در روزهای گذشته همگان ويدئوها
و عکس های مستندی را که از ايران به بيرون می رسد ديده و شاهد
رويارویی بيرحمانه ی حکومت اسلامی با مردم اين سرزمين و راندن وضعيت آن
به سوی يک فاجعه ی کامل بوده اند؛ فاجعه ای که زندگی ملتی هفتاد
ميليونی را که اکثرشان جوان و کودک هستند ـ به خطر افکنده است. جرم اين
مردم ايستادگی متمدنانه آنها در برابر خفقان، ديکتاتوری، دروغ و تقلب
انتخاباتی بوده است.
آگاهی گريزناپذير جهانيان از اين فاجعه، بار مسئوليتی سنگين را بر
شانه های هر انسان با وجدانی می گذارد که به کرامت و آزادی انسان و
حقوق بشری او، بر کنار از هر تبعيض و تفاوتی،
باور دارد
مردمان ايران ـ زن و مرد، پير و جوان ـ از انسان های ديگر جز حمايت و
تلاش برای به کارگيری هرآنچه که در امکان خود دارند در راستای جلوگيری
از اين سرکوب خونين و هردم فزاينده انتظاری ندارند.
ما، امضا کنندگان اين نامه، که ساکن کشورهای مختلف جهانيم، از دولت های
متبوع خود می خواهيم تا نسبت به آن چه در ايران می گذرد بی اعتنا
نمانند و به جای اظهارنظرهای کلی، بکوشند تا با فوريت بخشيدن به
استفاده از شورای امنيت سازمان ملل تصميمی جدی برای تنبه حکومت اسلامی
و رها ساختن مردم از چنگال اين سرکوب بگيرند.
گفتن ندارد که ما، اقدامات مقامات دولتی و منتخب خود را يکی از
معيارهای رای دادن به آن ها در فرصت های انتخاباتی آينده خواهيم دانست.
