Departments
To fulfill its mission, the Foundation will have different departments that would have their activities executed under their own special names. Creating a new department should be sanctioned and its Director selected by the Board of Trustees. The first department of the Foundation is "The International Committee to Save the Archeological Sites of the Pasargad Plains" that would continue its activity within its present goals and capacities.
The following departments have been planned prior to the first meeting of the Board: a. The Research Department that would concentrate on studies and researches relevant to history, archeological sites and artifacts, and cultural heritages, both tangible and intangible cultural heritages of Iran. b. The Academic Relations Department that would act as a liaison between the Foundation and the academic world. c. The Archive of Reports on Destruction of Cultural Heritages that would gather reports and information on intentional destructions, unauthorized excavations, illicit smuggling of artifacts inside and outside of Iran for informing the public about such atrocities. d. The General Archive that would organize all the documents relevant to the activities of the Foundation. e. The Art and Literature Department that would collect artistic and literary works of national and cultural value by encouraging the creators of such works to concentrate on the advancement of Foundation's goals. f. The Media Department that would publish and produce works that will contribute to the general awareness about the Foundation's goals.
Directors of such departments could be selected from amongst the members of the Board or other interested volunteers who declare their acceptance of such responsibilities.
